The Egyptian Lover and Arabian Prince’s camel train pulled into the alley outside of the dublab HQ under a blazing Sun. In the desert heat their harem was swirling sensuously, gold silks flapped in the wind and incense smoke curled sweetly through the air. Soon our studio was bumping to the sounds of these dual rulers of the electro-funk realm. The speaker boxes blasted hieroglyphs and other ancient codes into the air. Each beat came alive like a cobra swaying to a song of divine circuitry. With the royalty in full control dublab’s studio glimmered and shook gloriously. This was not an momentary flash affair. “FFFreak!” starts 9/20 and is a night I’ve been wanting to do for a couple years now but just didn’t know with who and where. Well now the stars have aligned and I linked up with some cool people and we have found a home for this baby. This venue gives us the opportunity to bring in guest Djs and acts as well, hope to see you out Sacto!
Resident DJ’s will be CrookOne and DJ Hailey. Also DJ’n on opening night and on occasion will be Dogtones (Beat Electric / KDVS).
